Pet Doctors operate over 30 veterinary clinics across Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Wight. As part of their customer retention strategy, Pet Doctors asked Eggbox to produce and manage a client-friendly email newsletter for their pet owning clients. Eggbox has now been managing email marketing for the Pet Doctors group for the past 5 years.

Results: The mailing list has seen steady growth, with a low rate of unsubscribes. The e-newsletter has achieved a higher than industry average open rate of over 35% and a click through rate of 15%. In the last year, Pet Doctors have expanded their online marketing activity to include Twitter and Facebook, and a popular ‘Pet of the Month’ competition across Facebook and the e-newsletter has increased customer engagement.
