When Brighton tea salon Metrodeco called The Argus to tell them about their recent Foursquare promotion, business editor Sam Thomson called Robin Houghton of Eggbox Marketing to comment. “This is an example of Twitter being the catalyst to promotional coverage,” said Robin. “I just happened to tweet my recent blog post about Foursquare at the moment Andy Keetch of Wired Sussex was taking Sam’s call. He recommended Sam talk to me.”
